Simple-To-Implement Resolutions This 2022 ! 🤩

Happy 2022 fonzies!!


How has few days into 2022 been? Have you had anyone ask u “what’s your new years resolution this year ?” Let me tell u, you aren’t alone in that. I’ve had resolutions I’ve never met could be due to covid or because I just became lazy, but if you don’t put ur foot forward, how are u gonna make a difference in your life? That’s my motivational quote I live by. Besides, it’s going to be the boring same routine every single year. You don’t have to take this as resolutions as I know it can be pressuring to think about when u don’t successfully engage into your resolutions. Here are a few ideas for you to develop yourself or change some old habits you’ve had.





1. Give yourself an hour a day to slowly achieve your dreams


Whether it’s working out, drinking 1L of water, achieving that A+ on your math exam or ranking 1st place in your favourite computer game, spend time to achieve your goals and find yourself developing into the best version of yourself.



2. Remove negativity or anything that makes you feel lousy


Even if it’s that emotionally draining friend group, toxic songs, unhealthy environment you’re in, try to get yourself out of that negativity and live in peace with people who matter and somewhere that you feel safe and comfortable.



3. Learn a new language


Use apps such as Duolingo or join language classes to learn a new language! Remember, it will be very beneficial in your future and it is never too late to learn!



4. Redecorate your space


You might be feeling less motivated or too used to studying and working in the same environment. Move things around, change the theme of your room or watch some YouTube videos for some inspirations!




5. Recite positive affirmations


Let’s leave the discouragement and less self-confidence we have had on ourselves in the previous years, it time to wake up, call yourself beautiful and move on with your day. You will slowly stop comparing and loving yourself even more!




6. Eating healthy and reducing sugar!


I know, I know this is a resolution many of us have every year, but let’s try shall we? Health is wealth !




7. Stop procrastinating


The work we have to complete by tomorrow is getting delayed because our favourite drama is releasing tonight and we’re thinking of pulling an all nighter, however is it thattt worth it to rush 2 minutes before submission and end up getting it all wrong from the exhaustion from the night before?

Make a to do list of all your assignments with a due date to quickly tackle them and then spend your time watching your drama or playing your games. You will thank yourself!




8. Learn something new everyday


We have endless things to learn in life, even if it is a new word, the current economic condition or just reading the newspaper, you will see yourself becoming very knowledgeable. It isn’t just necessary being book smart but street smart as well.




9. Go someplace you’ve never been


Step outside of your comfort zone and do something different. It’s good for the soul and pushes you to experience new things.




10. Read a book a month


Haven’t you heard? Reading is indeed good for your brain and significantly improves your grammar and writing skills. In fact it can reduce stress, improve your memory and concentration.




11. Save or invest some money from your paychecks every

month


Even just a small percentage can really add up down the line and be beneficial for your future.




12. Stay in touch with the people who matter


Even a quick call, text, or email can make a world of difference.




13. Stop gossiping


Don’t be that person. Spread positivity.




14. Turn off your phone one night a week


You’re sleeping anyway. You don’t need it and you get to reduce your screen time.




15. Drink more water


You’ve probably heard that your body needs it. Drink up!




16. Don’t buy things you don’t need


Bad habit. We love to spend money even if it’s for no good reason. Don’t need it? Don’t buy it.




17. Let go of grudges


Wouldn’t it be nice to start 2021 with a clean slate? Leave hate behind and cherish what matters the most.




18. Try a totally new restaurant


Go on. Be adventurous. Get that strange sushi roll or order takeout from the Indian restaurant that just opened up down the street.




19. Start a new hobby


Do new stuff. Let yourself blossom in 2021.




20. Avoid people who complain a lot


It doesn’t matter how positive a person you are. Negativity spreads, and it will impact you. Distance yourself from them.




21. Give one compliment a day


You never know what a person might be going through, it might make that person feel a whole lot better.




22. Do random acts of kindness


Anyone can be kind, and it costs you nothing.




23. Be kind on social media


Stop spreading hate and criticizing people on social media, remember we are all humans and we have feelings. Educate them if they are did something wrong and encourage them if they are trying to do something new. One hate comment can affect someone badly and you do not want to be the cause of it. Spread love, it’s 2022 already. How long is this going to go on?
