I know how annoying it can be when we just want things to be simplified in our busy student lives. But guess what? I’ve compiled a list of useful apps that even I make use of these days!

I hope these apps/websites help you guys in your journey!

Here is a chrome extension which enables you to highlight and edit the online resources directly!! WHAT? I CAN DO THAT?! YES, you can!

Flow is a minimalistic pomodoro based app focus timer. Increase your productivity and reduce stress at the same time. I think the best thing I love about flow is how they provide me with motivational quotes every single time my timer stops. It gives me motivation to keep going and keep trying.

GRAMMARLY


Grammarly is an online chrome extension which, provides you with real time grammar correcting, easy to understand, highly accurate!

Infact, You’re able to select your preferred language, turn it off on certain websites, as well as add new words you use often to the dictionary.

It is also Simple to use just like Microsoft Word and Google Doc’s spellcheck, Grammarly will underline incorrect words or grammar and show you what to replace it with and why if you simply hover over it.

As a student, balancing life filled with ample of assignments from time to time, examinations club and societies sure does leave us sleep deprived. But sometimes, even after being so mentally tired, you aren’t able to sleep? Same mess here.


HOWEVER, the Loona app, helps you calm your anxiety and lower your stress. It even gives you different suggestions of sounds and sleep scapes to cater to what you need in that moment. The sleep scapes gives you simple tasks to complete and relax your mind to which might teach you guys on some things u never knew about!

It majorly focuses on putting you to sleep and clearing your mind as well as relaxing you to de-stress.

Reflectly is a app journal utilizing artificial intelligence to help you structure and reflect upon your daily thoughts and problems. Use this as your personal journal to jot down your thoughts and track the wellbeing of your mental health.

Google Scholar is a freely accessible web search engine that indexes the full text or metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines. Needing any journal articles or research papers for college? Hop on to google scholar for more!

DUOLINGO



Wanting to learn a new language but classes are a little too pricy? Duolingo brings learning new languages to you for free! Infact, I learned a little Korean here too hehe. Users learn using "trees" tailored to their target language, with specific "skills" to practice vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation using spaced repetition.
