SFP Teacher's Day Party

On the 9th of July, a Great Gatsby themed Teacher's Day event was held in honour of the beloved lecturers from FIA and FIST! Many notable celebrities from the Sunway Foundation Programme Committee were featured, such as the President Khirrhu of the January 2021 intake and also our favourite dad joke provider: Ms. Sharenee! Participants consisted of the majority of the SFP lecturers, the Head of Department Ms. Suzana, and our fellow Student Committee members from the January and April 2021 intake. The session took place on the Zoom platform handled by secretaries of the January intake consisting of Pua Mem Jun and Tan Luxian. The purpose of the event was to surprise the lecturers of the programme for a night of bonding amongst themselves.

The event consisted of two games played amongst the lecturers called Kahoot! and Gartic Phone. The Kahoot! questions were thoughtfully written by the April intake's Student Committee members and featured questions of the lecturers and their secret talents and random trivia questions to test their knowledge! Performances also consisted of a dance performance by _ from the """" intake and even included an original song and music video performance by members of the April intake!

All in all, the SFP Committee would like to thank the lecturers for all the hard work and effort they place into teaching to make online learning innovative and easier for all of us online. We know that it's never easy to teach over a screen and we appreciate each and every moment you spend adapting just for us during this pandemic. We hope you enjoyed the event!
